Princess Goes have shared ‘Heart 2 Heart’, the latest single from their new album ‘3’, out October 30.

The New York trio of Michael C. Hall, Matt Katz-Bohen and Peter Yanowitz have taken a few different routes into the record already. ‘Sincere Chroma’ was comparatively spacious, ‘Stranger’ leaned towards guitar music, and ‘French Kiss’ settled into something much more suited to a late-night dancefloor.

‘Heart 2 Heart’ comes in harder. The drums and guitar are pushed forward, and Hall has to raise his voice accordingly. It is probably the most straightforwardly forceful of the new songs so far.

Princess Goes have been playing together for more than a decade now. Hall, Katz-Bohen and Yanowitz first met while working on the Broadway production of ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch’. They were pretending to be in a band on stage, enjoyed it enough to carry on once the show was over, and eventually found themselves with enough songs to make the arrangement permanent.

Their first album, ‘Thanks for Coming’, appeared in 2021, followed by ‘Come of Age’ in 2023. ‘3’ is their third full-length record and runs to eleven tracks.

The new album also includes ‘Walking In Soho’, ‘Fall Chroma’, ‘Be Heavy’, ‘Polaroid’, ‘Skin Suit’, ‘Snaggletooth’ and ‘Good Morning’, alongside the three singles already released.
