Girl Apocrypha Shares New Single ‘Like Adam Would’
Brighton artist Girl Apocrypha returns with ‘Like Adam Would,’ a new single that pushes her mix of grunge, synth-pop and electronic experimentation into heavier territory.
Recorded with producer Jag Jago and mastered by Kurt Martinez, the track moves between distorted guitars, sparse electronic passages and sudden bursts of live drums, while Apocrypha’s vocals shift from close, processed delivery to more exposed and unguarded moments.
Speaking about the track, Girl Apocrypha says:
“I wrote ‘Like Adam Would’ from a place of total infatuation, a feeling so intense I could only bear to explain as biblical. Holy. It’s seeing scripture in a person’s words. Creation in their face. It’s knowing that my tunnel vision ends just millimeters away from your outline and making no attempt to expand it because why would I want to look at anything other than you?”
