Rising Dao used to lean on open-ended jams, letting things blur, but ‘Zero Some Game’ tightens that instinct into something more focused, more idea-based. This massive double album is a new shape for them, and yeah, it asks a bit more from you, but it pays it back, these tracks feel thought through without losing that fantastic floating psych haze that can be heard on their previous releases.
