Norwegian band Cat Vacation have released their new single ‘Lost My Phone’.

Cat Vacation are a new group, although the people involved have been around for quite a while. Members have previously played in Lukestar, Team Me and Kaospilot, and the band had already written and recorded close to two albums before putting out their first music.

‘Lost My Phone’ is not really about the horror of losing a phone. Quite the opposite. The band imagine disappearing somewhere by the Mediterranean, away from the internet, newspapers and crowded beaches, with little more to worry about than finding a dry Martini.

There is garage rock and punk in the song, along with some of the rougher psychedelic sound the band have been drawing from. It’s short, direct and doesn’t make too much fuss about itself.
