Rising Dao used to lean on open-ended jams, letting things blur, but ‘Zero Some Game’ tightens that instinct into something more focused, more idea-based. This massive double album is a new shape for them, and yeah, it asks a bit more from you, but it pays it back, these tracks feel thought through without losing that fantastic floating psych haze that can be heard on their previous releases. Definitely worth spending time with!!
