Kit Major Shares ‘Miss Ego’ Ahead of New EP

Los Angeles rocker Kit Major has shared ‘Miss Ego,’ the title track from her upcoming EP, out June 12 via Futureless.

The single follows earlier previews ‘Not As Witty As I Used To Be’ and ‘Punk Rock Boyfriend,’ and continues the EP’s sharp, loud look at identity, femininity, and self-worth.

‘Miss Ego’ is built around punk energy, attitude, and a clear sense of defiance. Major describes it as “a sleek and cheeky song about how much space a girl can take up in relationships, on stage, and her place in the world.” That idea sits at the centre of the EP, which began during a period of writer’s block and grew from the phrase “there’s no room in bed for Miss Ego.”

Known for mixing punk, grunge, and rock ’n’ roll hooks, Major keeps the sound direct and high-voltage. Her music is messy in the right way: fast, bold, and built for the stage. With ‘Miss Ego,’ she turns questions about image, expectation, and space into something loud!
