Temples announce ‘BLISS’ and share new single ‘Vendetta’
British indie-psych outfit Temples have shared new track ‘Vendetta,’ following their February announcement of a signing to V2 Records and confirmation of their forthcoming album ‘BLISS.’
The band previously previewed the record with lead single ‘Jet Stream Heart.’ Formed in Kettering in 2012, Temples comprise James Bagshaw (vocals/guitar), Tom Walmsley (bass), Adam Smith (keyboards/guitar) and Rens Ottink (drums). Their sound draws on vintage psychedelic production techniques while incorporating a more contemporary rhythmic approach, balancing retro influence with a modern sensibility. More than a decade on from their debut album Sun Structures, which established their early reputation, the band have continued to develop a forward-looking and stylistically flexible body of work.
The four-piece’s latest release, ‘Vendetta,’ is a streamlined, club-influenced track built around layered textures and a prominent melodic core.
