Daniel Benyamin Announces Double Album, Shares Lead Single ‘Holding Hands’
Daniel Benyamin is back. The European underground fixture just dropped ‘Holding Hands,’ the lead single from his upcoming sophomore solo album, ‘Life After Music.’
Set for release on May 15, 2026, via Ghost Palace Records/Cargo, the sprawling double LP tackles the creeping numbness of the digital age.
The new track arrives with a stark music video directed, filmed, and edited by Laura Straubel. ‘Holding Hands’ digs straight into the quiet panic of modern life. It asks what happens when technology swallows our emotional bandwidth and love gets reduced to a cheap marketing tactic. Benyamin questions if we can still trust our own desires, dance without a thick layer of irony, or hold someone’s hand without suspecting a trap.
‘Life After Music’ promises to be an ambitious project. Benyamin split the vinyl into four distinct thematic sides exploring loneliness, space, life, and silence. Known for blurring sonic boundaries, he built this record to challenge how we process genuine feeling in a screen-obsessed world.
