‘The Vicious’ enters through Revolution Above Disorder
‘The Vicious’ is a tense, slow burning track built on distorted guitars and an undercurrent of unease.
At moments it feels as if you are standing on unstable ground, watching reality blur and fracture between control and collapse. The song refuses to explain itself, choosing instead to speak through texture and mood, drawing the listener into a fog drenched space where fear and fascination intertwine, where the beautiful and the ominous feel inseparable.
Revolution Above Disorder is the Vancouver based project of Irish born artist Stav White. The sound moves between post punk, dreamy psychedelia, and shoegaze, all threaded together with subtle electronic elements. There is a sense of drifting through fog while still being guided by a certain emotional compass.
Onstage, Revolution Above Disorder channel their sound into a dense live experience. Their performances have placed them alongside notable acts including A Place to Bury Strangers, Holy Wave, MØAA, The KVB, New Candys, The Asteroid #4, Creux Lies, and Mint Field. Their music has also been reimagined by respected artists including A Place to Bury Strangers, Jagz Kooner, Tim Holmes, and Pete Holmstrom.
‘The Vicious’ is available everywhere December 2.
