Hermetic Delight’s ‘Vagabond Melodies’ is Out Now
The Franco-Turkish duo Hermetic Delight releases their second album, ‘Vagabond Melodies,’ today, November 7, 2025, via October Tone.
Emerging from the sonic space between Sub Pop and 4AD, this release sharpens the Art Pop language they’ve been cultivating since 2012. Following their focal 2020 release ‘F.A. Cult,’ which brought their sensibilities forward, ‘Vagabond Melodies’ is more direct and grounded. The album consists of nine songs born from detours and suspended moments, moving in unpredictable jolts that include sharp surges followed by soft retreats.
The core strength remains their taut musicianship: Zeynep Kaya’s voice carries the emotional weight, stretching or tightening with narrative precision. Delphine Padilla’s drumming supplies a relentless, motorik rhythm. Atef Aouadhi’s guitars and bass sculpt the space, guiding the track’s tense equilibrium. It’s a sound built on instinct, resulting in nine tracks that feel completely spontaneous.
‘Vagabond Melodies’ is an instinct-driven record that is simultaneously tender and unbothered by expectation. It’s the sound of a band fully realizing their singular trajectory.
