Before South for Winter drops their long-awaited second album, ‘Of Sea and Sky,’ we’re excited to share an important piece of it: the instrumental track ‘Tears of an Albatross.’
This stunning instrumental really shows off the trio’s musicianship. Co-produced with two-time GRAMMY winner Matt Leigh at Nashville’s legendary Sound Emporium, the song acts as an anchor for the album’s two-part concept. Without a single lyric, it captures the album’s twin themes: the vast, sometimes lonely beauty of both the sea and the sky.
