Kramer Announces New LP, Shares Haunting Single ‘Whispers for the Damned’
Legendary producer, multi-instrumentalist, and avant-garde musician Kramer has announced his first solo album in five years, ‘…and the crimson moon whispers goodbye,’ set for release on December 12th via Shimmy-Disc.
Alongside the announcement, Kramer shares the mesmerizing first single, ‘Whispers for the Damned,’ a cinematic and meditative track available to hear now.
A veteran of NYC’s late-’70s experimental scene, Kramer continues his journey into minimalist ambient composition. Departing from traditional lyrics, the new four-part LP is described as a “drone-poem for The Living and The Dead,” rooted in deep listening and subconscious exploration.
Kramer explains the intent behind the music: “The music on this LP scores movies-of-the-mind, projected individually by each listener… creating internal spaces that can travel beyond mere meditation.”
‘Whispers for the Damned’ is out October 16th, via Shimmy-Disc.
