Chat Pile and Hayden Pedigo Unleash ‘Demon Time’ from New Album ‘In the Earth Again’

Oklahoma City noise-rockers Chat Pile and experimental guitarist and composer Hayden Pedigo have dropped ‘Demon Time,’ the second single from their upcoming collaborative album, ‘In the Earth Again’. The album is set to release on October 31, 2025, via Computer Students™.

‘Demon Time’ is a stark departure from the brutal, aggressive sound Chat Pile is known for. Instead, the track leans into a more hushed, atmospheric vibe, driven by Pedigo’s distinct guitar work. The single arrives with a music video created by Stin, who used physical VHS tapes to give the visuals a lo-fi, analog feel.

Hayden Pedigo’s expansive guitar work clashes with Chat Pile’s industrial sound, creating an album that is devastatingly huge. The record feels like a transmission from a post-apocalyptic wasteland, a journey through emotional extremes that stands apart from anything either artist has ever created. Instead of meeting in the middle, the five musicians operate as a single force, channeling every decision into a unified vision.

The album, ‘In the Earth Again,’ features cover art by Malcolm Byers and will be available in multiple formats, including:

180g gatefold vinyl (black, silver, and gold)
Deluxe edition with a poster and foil-sealed cover
Standard edition on CD, cassette, and digital
