Chat Pile & Hayden Pedigo Announce Collaborative Album ‘In the Earth Again’
Oklahoma City’s noise-rock juggernaut Chat Pile and Texas/Oklahoma’s visionary guitarist-composer Hayden Pedigo have joined forces for a new collaborative album, ‘In the Earth Again,’ set for release on October 31, 2025 via Computer Students™.
Alongside the announcement comes the record’s lead single, ‘Radioactive Dreams,’ paired with a striking video directed by filmmaker Riley Stearns.
On ‘In the Earth Again,’ Pedigo’s panoramic, primitive guitar landscapes collide with Chat Pile’s industrial grit, yielding a body of work that feels both intimate and cataclysmic. The album plays like a post-apocalyptic transmission from the rural fringes…an exploration of mood, atmosphere, and emotional extremes unlike anything in either artist’s catalog. Rather than compromise, the five musicians operate as a single organism, channeling every choice into a shared vision.
‘Radioactive Dreams,’ inspired by Albert Pyun’s cult sci-fi film, distills that collective ethos into a haunting centerpiece. The track is at once melodic and unsettling, an elegiac fusion of five distinct voices resonating in total unity—a requiem for a world already gone.
‘In the Earth Again’ arrives in a range of meticulously designed formats, all featuring artwork by Malcolm Byers.
