Fever Rouge Premiere Dark, Explosive Title Track ‘Feed The Villain’ from Upcoming EP
Brighton’s Fever Rouge are back with a fiery bang, dropping the title track from their highly anticipated EP ‘Feed The Villain’ (due April 4th). The band’s latest single, released February 28th, blends post-punk, indie, and alt-rock with gritty energy.
Known for their electrifying live shows, Fever Rouge have built a strong following. Drawing inspiration from King Krule, Radiohead, Bloc Party, and The Stone Roses, the new EP continues their raw yet carefully crafted sound, with the title track at the forefront.
Produced by Oliver Hughes, Josh Harrison, and Louis Spanton, ‘Feed The Villain’ explores the duality of human nature, tackling the battle between impulse and morality. The song kicks off with a menacing bassline and psychedelic guitar tones, escalating into a chaotic, explosive chorus.
The band explains, “‘Feed The Villain’ is a celebration of hedonism with a critical undertone. In today’s world, selfishness is rampant—whether it’s politics, corporate greed, or daily life. The song calls listeners to confront indulgence’s consequences.”
After the EP’s release, ‘Fever Rouge’ will hit the road on their Villain Tour this April, hitting cities across the UK and Ireland. The band will also perform at this year’s Wilderness Festival.
