Cruel Nature, is a DIY label based in Morpeth, Northumberland (UK) specialising in limited edition cassette releases and downloads. Established in 2013, it has published over 250 works; currently releasing up to 6 albums a month. It’s a fairly eclectic mix of underground sounds, ranging from experimental; drone; noise-rock; post-punk; psych; doom; electronic, from across the globe – something for a multitude of tastes. The aim of the label is to provide a platform for new artists, irrespective of location, complimented by releases from already established acts (such as Sly & The Family Drone; Aidan Baker; Nadja; Whirling Hall Of Knives; Stuart Chalmers; Alan Courtis; The Revolutionary Army Of The Infant Jesus; Woven Skull).
