‘Futatsume No Taiyo’ by Jaguar No Me

Exclusive video premiere of ‘Futatsume No Taiyo’ by Jaguar No Me.

Former Fat White Family and They Came From The Stars I Saw Them bass player Taishi spreads his wings with an irresistible music of Japanese cinematic psychedelia and garage punk with Takamasa Kobayashi (ex-Boys Age), Shamisen (Japanese Traditional instrument) player Shiomi Kawaguchi and Juliette Wallace to create new Japanese Music with the mixture of Kayo music (60-80’s J-Pop), Traditional and Japanese superhero music. Today we are premiering his latest music video.

“This video was inspired by the Japanese superhero series called “Kamen Rider”. The 1st series started in 1971 and it is still on Japanese TV, exciting Japanese kids. The newest series is 29th and the name is Kamen Rider Revice. The song was written by me with the mixed influence from a 70’s Japanese pop band called “Alice” and my favorite Japanese superhero music from the 70’s and 80’s. The video was inspired by 7th Kamen Rider Series “Kamen Rider Super 1” and “Rider Man” (a sub character from 3rd series “Kamen Rider V3″) and with the help of a Berlin based visual photographer/video artist Ben Plefka. We also made the costume, borrowed our friend’s vintage bike with green/blue screen, and also featured lots of scenes from Bavaria”. Taishi Nagasaka
