Exclusive stream of ‘Taste Those Dreams’ EP by Brooklyn new-wave punk band My Son The Doctor.
‘Taste Those Dreams’ was recorded with engineer Ian McNally and mastered at Peerless Mastering by Jeff Lipton (Superchunk, Spoon, Stephen Malkmus, Wilco, LCD Soundsystem).
‘Taste Those Dreams’ will be released October 8 via Paper Moon Records.
“In Summer of 2020, we got like a million COVID tests as a band and schlepped to rural Pennsylvania to record. We were ready to take another step forward as a band after the first EP. We spent a lot of time writing and rewriting during the recording process to make the songs as taut as a sailors knot. We love when albums have those surprising “oh shit, they just did that?” moments and tried to harness that for ‘Taste Those Dreams’. We play around a lot with genres, but at the end of the day we’re brash. We’re hot. And we’re anxious.”
