‘1.3’ by Breitband
Exclusive video premiere of debut single ‘1.3’ by Austrian project Breitband.
Breitband is an Austrian music project, initiated to bend time and space. Breitband was initiated by Peter Freydl in late 2019. He is the composer and guitarist for the project. For Breitband’s recording process and live lineup, he is joined by the main members of Aux Portes.
Artist Emilia Stone is responsible for Breitband’s visual appearance, making its sonic scapes visible.
‘1.3’ is the opening track of Breitband’s self-titled first album, introducing the core elements of it’s stylistic fingerprint – repetitive discontinuity, layering, dissolving memory and expectation. Influenced by early electronic, rock and post-minimalist music, Breitband combines stringent structures with organic texture to bring forth it’s contradictory, yet harmonic essence.
The maker of the music video is Peter Freydl (Breitband). The single and album artwork was created by Emilia Stone.
