Vinyl of the Day

There’s a certain joy in hearing someone disappear entirely into their own soundworld. And Oakland’s Justin Pinkerton, under the name Futuropaco (El Paraiso), doesn’t just disappear, but vanishes into a prismatic vortex of fuzz, rhythm and hallucinogenic groove. ‘Fortezza Di Vetro Vol. 2’ is a wild hypnotic trip full of heavy riffs, oddball rhythms and weird flutes all locked in like some lost psych funk treasure from another dimension.
