Soft Motion – “Miss Sunshine” premiere
Soft Motion’s multi-instrumentalist Chris Horwood has been creating sonic sounds and electro dance grooves in his treehouse studio located deep in the hinterland of Byron Bay, Australia. Chris’s tracks explore an uncharted direction through an innovative writing process, with the focus always on searching for that new sound.
Miss Sunshine was inspired by the documentary The Sunshine Makers – (In the 1960s, underground chemists Nicholas Sand and Tim Scully manufacture a massive amount of LSD while staying one step ahead of the law, merely to open peoples minds). The song takes you on a psychedelic journey through the peaks of an acid trip, accentuated by pulsing synth, driving drums, soft melting guitar tones and enchanting vocals; all guiding the listener into another dimension for this 5 minute escape.
