Well now, following the release of ‘OSTARA’, Mister Earthbound return with ‘LITHA’, the second chapter in their 2026 cycle of seasonal EPs.

Where ‘OSTARA’ wandered through lush and warming psychedelic pastures, ‘LITHA’ treads a weightier summer path. This three-song offering is steeped in blues and psychedelia, carrying a firmer hand whilst still holding fast to the rich atmosphere and feeling that have long sat at the heart of the band’s sound.

The EP begins with ‘Soothsay’, a slow-burning blues-psych number that sets the scene right proper, before ‘Vultures’ arrives with a sharper and more rugged crunch. Bringing matters to a close, ‘Death Instead’ ventures into darker, doom-laden territory, finishing the record with a mighty gallop.

‘LITHA’ forms part of Mister Earthbound’s broader seasonal undertaking, with each EP arriving around a solstice or equinox. In due course, the complete collection shall be gathered together as ‘Endless Man’, the band’s sophomore full-length album.
