Brooklyn Post-Punk Duo fashn Share New Single and Video ‘Continuation’
Brooklyn post-punk duo fashn have shared ‘Continuation,’ their first new single of 2026, alongside a new video.
The project began in Chicago before Thomas Peters and Julius Dolls relocated to New York, where they’ve become part of the Bushwick and Ridgewood DIY circuit. Over the last two years, fashn have played rooms including The Broadway, Knitting Factory, Alphaville, Mercury Lounge, and Market Hotel, building out a live presence around their mix of gothic post-punk, shoegaze, darkwave pop, electronic textures, and indie rock.
‘Continuation’ follows last October’s ‘Talk Show’ and leads into fashn’s forthcoming sophomore album, ‘Sequel.’ The song runs on drum machine pressure, glassy synths, and vocals sunk low in the mix. fashn keep the track fixed on repetition, letting the pattern build tension until routine starts to feel unstable.
“Continuation, finding the thrill in the monotony. Detached execution,” the band say of the single. “This track is a representation of favored consistency over ambiguity. The only reality we want is the one that we create.”
‘Continuation’ turns routine into pressure. fashn keep the song tight and direct, with post-punk guitars, darkwave synths, and vocals low in the mix. The sound feels built for small Brooklyn rooms, where repetition hits harder than release.
fashn play Washington, DC at Pie Shop on May 8, Brooklyn’s Market Hotel on May 9, and Alphaville on July 17.
