beaming Announce Debut LP ‘horseshoe’ with Buoyant New Single ‘say goodbye’
What happens when two indie veterans strip away the ego and focus purely on the joy of creation? You get beaming.
The collaborative project of Derek Ted (prolific producer for Field Medic, Odie Leigh) and Braden Lawrence (formerly of The Districts) has officially announced their debut full-length album, horseshoe, arriving April 17th via Rose Garden Records.
To mark the announcement, the duo has shared the lead single, ‘say goodbye,’ accompanied by a new music video. Channeling a bright, early-aughts nostalgia, the track is a razor-sharp indie-pop earworm that perfectly captures the band’s ethos: embracing levity even through emotional turbulence. It is a disarming introduction to an album that promises to balance soul-searching lyricism with infectious, unrigid production.
beaming will bring their new material to the stage this spring, supporting Field Medic on a North American tour hitting major stops in Austin, Los Angeles, Seattle, and more.
