Diemen Sniep Share ‘LOGS’ from Upcoming Album ‘Nobody Likes a Pity Party’

Liège band Diemen Sniep have shared ‘LOGS’, the second single from their new album ‘Nobody Likes a Pity Party’, out November 13 through JauneOrange.

We heard from Diemen Sniep last month with ‘CRY_O’, their first new music in three years. ‘LOGS’ is the next piece of the record. The song circles around time, work and that familiar worry that you might be putting everything into something without actually getting anywhere.

“It’s always been the same / Nothing will change,” Chad Levitt sings at one point. That resignation does not quite settle the matter. The question left behind is a fairly ordinary one, but probably an uncomfortable one too: what would it actually take to change the way you live?

‘Nobody Likes a Pity Party’ has been a long time coming. The album was worked on across Belgium and the Netherlands, with sessions taking place at IJland Studios, Squid Studio, Chez Saint-Georges, Wood Studio, Kasbah Studios, Sphères Sonores, Koko Records and the rather less formal-sounding “Chad’s Studio.” Maximiliaan de Hoogd, Yannick Lemoine and Jamshid Mahmoudy produced the record. Mahmoudy mixed it at Kasbah Studios in Maastricht, while Christian Bethge handled the mastering in Germany. It follows Diemen Sniep’s 2021 debut ‘Life Without Adrenaline’ and the 2023 standalone release ‘All Scum’.
