Italian experimental veterans Julie’s Haircut are back with their tenth album, ‘Radiance Opposition,’ due November 28. Released via Superlove and Weird Beard Records, this new work signals a move toward renewal for the six-piece.

Known for their hypnotic sounds since the late nineties , the band’s musical evolution has embraced a kaleidoscopic eclecticism. ‘Radiance Opposition’ is a cohesive journey across eight cyclical tracks, masterfully combining psychedelia, electronica, and polyrhythms.

The current lineup features a new voice in Italian-Nigerian singer and songwriter Anna Bassy. Inspired by the I Ching , the album features tracks like the invigorating ‘I Can See The Light,’ the dynamic ‘Unit Circle’, and the heavy, chthonic blues of ‘Extinction Of The Sun’. It’s a transformative experience that simultaneously grounds the band in their history and propels them toward a creative rebirth.

Today’s third single premiering track, ‘To The Sacred Mantle,’ unfolds like an absolute journey through the inner landscape. A deep cruise, the track vibrates with intense percussive beat and endless synth waves. Its minimalist architecture is infused with hypnotic, almost whispered vocals and truly spectral guitars.
