The Mojave Experience Brings Desert Rock Back to Its Roots
Joshua Tree is about to get loud. The first-ever Mojave Experience festival hits March 20-21, 2026, at the Joshua Tree Lake & Campground.
Founded by High Desert native and VOLUME frontman Patrick Brink (formerly of desert rock legends Fu Manchu), the festival promises two nights of heavy riffs, psychedelic jams, and desert chaos.
Early lineup highlights include co-headliners Earthless and Dead Meadow, with a total of 16 bands set to play. Expect a mix of scene veterans and new blood pushing the boundaries of desert rock and beyond.
This isn’t your corporate, city-park fest… Mojave Experience channels the anarchic spirit of early Coachella days, generator parties, and Desolation Center. Camping, climbing, and stargazing are all part of the weekend as the desert becomes both stage and muse.
Tickets go on sale October 3rd at mojaveexperience.net
