Torpedo crash back into the frame with ‘Some Wolves,’ premiering exclusively here, a wild-eyed blast of noise rock that tightens their grip on the post-punk and psych underground.
They’ve been at this since 2016, welding industrial clang, punk panic, and psych hallucination into something that feels like it’s always about five seconds from flying apart. And ‘Some Wolves’ doesn’t flinch. It comes in hot, bleeding static, guitars already frayed to hell before you even realize the song has started. The bass throbs like a warning, the drums stomp out anything that moves, and somewhere in the middle of it all Carro Loubère is tearing the walls down with her voice. Defiant, cracked…
This is the first shot fired from their upcoming album ‘What the fucked do we all do now? | Lights,’ out June 27 on Broken Clover Records. And yeah, that title… a breakdown scrawled on a bathroom mirror at four in the morning. The record promises to go even further into the mess we’re all dragging behind us.
But ‘Some Wolves’ is here to say yeah, everything’s on fire, and here’s what it sounds like. Jagged. Loud. Alive!
