‘Bedlam’ by DIAL | New EP

Exclusive video premiere of ‘Bedlam’ by DIAL, taken from their debut EP ‘DIAL,’ out now.

DIAL’s new music video for their song ‘Bedlam’ was filmed by Lachlan Breheny and edited by both Breheny and Matt Leo. The track is from their debut EP ‘DIAL,’ which was engineered by Amaya Dedes of Obsidian Records and mixed by Jade Tyres of Relay Tapes.

DIAL’s debut EP offers a fresh Australian perspective on power-pop melodies layered over feedback-heavy guitar music. Projected through an ethereal wall of sound, DIAL is frequently compared to Spacemen 3, The Verve, and The Jesus and Mary Chain, while also drawing from classic influences like The Replacements, Velvet Underground, and The Stooges. Following the release of their EP, ‘DIAL’ joined the legendary Australian band The Church on their Australia tour. They are also set to join The Angels on their Australia tour from June to August.

DIAL is generating excitement in the Australian indie scene and seems poised to make a significant impact in the coming years. Their contemporary take on power-pop melodies over feedback-heavy music has cemented their place in the Brisbane music scene. Led by the sonic hypnotism of Elijah David and Taylor Harvey, and backed by powerhouse drummer Bobby Thornton and the persistently aloof bassist Matt Leo, DIAL’s energetic yet atmospheric essence is hard to ignore.
