Hooray For Earth Announce ‘True Loves’ LP First-Time Reissue | Share Unreleased Track, ‘La Que Sabe’

Storied NYC rock band, Hooray For Earth, formed in 2003 by Noel Heroux, have announced a first-time reissue of their 2011 album ‘True Loves’ featuring tracks ‘True Loves,’ ‘No Love,’ ‘Realize It’s Not the Sun’.

Along with the reissue, the band also shares a previously unreleased track from the original recording sessions, a single entitled ‘La Que Sabe’.

“‘La Que’ wasn’t ready in time to fit into ‘True Loves’. I went through several old external drives to rescue stems and revisited fragmented lyrics to make it whole. The song is something of a love/war episode with myself and an absolutely tireless inner critic.” – Noel Heroux

First just a placeholder phrase/name written on CD-Rs of Noel’s solo recordings, “Hooray For Earth,” left the disc and found band members in Jessica Zambri, Cristi Jo Zambri, Seth Kasper, Joseph Ciampini, Gary Benacquista, and Noel’s dear childhood friend and occasional emergency contact Christopher Principe. Various live configurations toured frequently in the U.S. and internationally, engaged in radio appearances and studio collaborations (Zambri, Twin Shadow, Autre Ne Veut, Oh No Ono, A Place To Bury Strangers) before ceasing activity in late 2014. Releases to date include two studio LPs, three EPS and several singles and self released bits.
