New EP by Bromance | Premiere

Bromance is a punk band from Bologna consisting of bass player Gianluca “g.Mod” Modica (Ofeliadorme, Letherdive), guitarist Angelo “Gelo” Casarrubia (Buzz Aldrin, Melampus), drummer Marco Scarabel (Buzz Aldrin, Vertical), and singer Peter Smith (The Boozers).
Connected by a deep sensuality, the members of the group are faithful to their name and carry in music the disruption of this bond: their sound is thus translated into a concentration of pure adrenaline, made of scratching chants and corrosive riffs backed by a pulsating bass and almost tribal drumming. All in all it sounds like the dirtiest rock’n’roll collides with the devastating irruence of no wave.
The band’s first self-titled EP, ‘Bromance,’ is a devastating concentrate of pure rage and rock’n’roll rebellion. Five dark and fierce pearls are born, from the rock blues of the attack ‘Twin Chicks’ up to the garage frenzy of the single ‘Doubt On The Balcony Boudoir,’ through the decadent ballad ‘Four Season Souvenir’. The whole work exudes raw romanticism, a meeting ground between Lydia Lunch, Cramps e Bauhaus.
