A place that is real but unreal at the same time and so abstract, it is ideal to introduce ‘Isola Santa’, focused on the dualism matter-not matter, nature and artifice. Each track is the story of a dichotomy that, going through the most lyrical and ecstatic minimalism, is resolved in the sonic richness of the vibrating matter. The one who passes through these opposite suggestions, calculates, acts, creates and then stops reflecting his aspiration in a space of light. Matter is the only thing I care about and that I listen to until, exhausted, I turn myself to the last intuition of the soul. ‘Isola Santa’ was conceived for Dissipatio.

Alberto Picchi’s work is inspired by unity of opposites theory applied in a sound context and focused on digital – analogue, full – vacuum, improvisation – organization. He released albums on Falt (France) and Love Earth Music (USA), ‘Isola Santa’ was specially conceived for Dissipatio. Ambasce shared stages with Zoviet France, Daimon, PDF, Nordra, Petrolio and others.
