‘The Gift of Nature’ by Hill | New album ‘Metaflections’

Exclusive video premiere of ‘The Gift of Nature’, taken from the upcoming album by Brighton-based art jazz group Hill.

‘The Gift of Nature’ is the second track from the upcoming album, ‘Metaflections’, out 19th August.

The film is shot with 10,000 photos being played back at different frame rates and shows the lives of 9 clones and the business-alien that made them. But really it’s a comment on the multiplicity of nature, the life/death cycle and the relation of all that to artist creation.

“‘The Gift of Nature’ is a comment on the multiplicity of nature, the life/death cycle and evolution, and tries to offer a hint that these concepts are prevalent in our creativity, in our work and our social and political motives.”

Hill are a psychedelic band from Brighton, hanging off the edge of the avant-garde with surrealistic tendencies that find their lead through a conceptual compass. New music that looks deeply into the future as well as the past. The bandleader, Pete leads the listener through Hill’s alchemical world through the lyricism and free improvisation only found in outer space.
