Detroit psychedelic trio Sisters of Your Sunshine Vapor have a new video for ‘Suck Upon the Living’, just in time for Halloween.

The song originally appeared on their 2024 album ‘Nocturnal Train to Mars’, released through Little Cloud Records. We’ve been following the band for years. Back in 2023, we featured ‘Night Crawler’, followed by ‘Log Rolls Over’ in January 2024, shortly before the album came out. ‘Suck Upon the Living’ was also released as a single in late 2023 and has remained part of the band’s live set ever since. There’s even a version on their ‘Live in Europe 2025’ album, which came out last December.

The trio of Sean Morrow, Eric Oppitz and Rick Sawoscinski have been playing together for years, recording much of their material at their own Space Camp Studios in Detroit. Their music has always had a darker side, so bringing this particular song back for Halloween seems quite appropriate.
