Athens-based Blame Canada have shared a lyric video for ‘Three’, the second single from their forthcoming album ‘Ghost of Dopamine’.

The record is due October 30 and will be released on vinyl and digitally, with Sound Effect Records handling distribution. Blame Canada have been around since 2014, taking their name from the famous South Park song. Their debut album, ‘City We Love to Hate’, appeared back in 2016, so it’s been quite a long time between records. The band have always had a soft spot for 1990s alternative rock, shoegaze and psychedelia, along with the indie rock that followed in the early 2000s. Those influences are still part of ‘Ghost of Dopamine’, which deals with love, loss and trying to find your way through difficult times. The new album features Andy A. Lanis on vocals, Takis Apostolou on guitar and backing vocals, Tolis Metzidakis on bass and Foivos Katsifloros on drums. It was recorded at Paradise Studios and Artracks Recording Studios, with George Priniotakis handling the mixing and mastering. ‘Three’ follows the earlier single ‘The More The Merrier’, which also came with a lyric video.
