Pink Fuzz Share New Single ‘Don’t You Wanna Go To Heaven?’
Denver trio Pink Fuzz have released ‘Don’t You Wanna Go To Heaven?’, out today through Permanent Teeth and paired with their June single ‘Manipulator’.
A few months back we had ‘Manipulator’, a short, heavy blast from Pink Fuzz. ‘Don’t You Wanna Go To Heaven?’ now completes the two-song release and gives us another taste of where the band are at after last year’s ‘Resolution’.
John Demitro’s baritone guitar is still right at the centre of it, with LuLu Demitro and Will Trafas keeping things moving underneath. It’s heavy, certainly, but there is a lot of melody in there too, especially in the vocals. The single was recorded at Cauldron Audio Works with Riley Rukavina engineering, mixed by Ben McLeod of All Them Witches and mastered by Alberto De Icaza. The artwork is by Katy Black of Spoonbenders.
‘Resolution’ came out in September 2025, four years after the band’s previous release. Kevin McKeown of Black Pistol Fire produced the record, while Alain Johannes handled the mix.
Pink Fuzz have also spent a good deal of that time on the road, and they are heading out again almost immediately. A run with The Well begins tomorrow in Taos, with dates across the western US and Canada before wrapping up at Zebulon in Los Angeles on October 26.
A limited red translucent square flexi-disc edition of ‘Manipulator’ is also available through Permanent Teeth.
