Peaches Drops Title Track ‘No Lube So Rude’ Ahead of Album Release

Cultural trailblazer and pop provocateur Peaches releases the title track from her forthcoming album, ‘No Lube So Rude,’ with a video directed by Matt Lambert and produced in collaboration with award-winning erotic filmmaker Erika Lust, choreographed by Constanza Macras (Poor Things, The Favourite).

Shot at Berlin’s Queer Wagen Collective Marzipan and starring figures from the city’s queer punk underground, the film imagines “lube protectors” resisting fascist attack, asserting sexual repression as a root of fascism and orgasm as antidote… inspired by Derek Jarman, early John Waters, Tank Girl and Wilhelm Reich. An extended explicit cut is available via ERIKALUST.com.

Peaches says, “When the world is friction, lube isn’t a luxury. It’s a necessity. It’s how you turn that friction into pleasure, into power, into pride. I want people to understand that they can still have a voice no matter who they are or what the world says about them.” Lambert adds, “The last few years have been defined by tension — seeing ourselves divided further and further… This video is a brief antidote to the rage – harnessing the power of our sexual joy as a momentary collective breath – a deep inhale to power us into the abyss.” Lust states, “Sexual freedom strengthens political freedom. Supporting this film was about defending pleasure, expression, and resistance in the face of repression.”

Out February 20, 2026 via Kill Rock Stars, ‘No Lube So Rude’ was recorded in Berlin with The Squirt Deluxe and fuses electronic, dance, punk, industrial and pop into a body-as-frontline manifesto of pleasure and protest.

On the album’s release day, Peaches will set out on an extensive 27-date North American No Lube So Rude Tour followed by an EU/UK run in April. The North American tour will feature support from Model/Actriz, Cortisa Star, and Pixel Grip. Peaches has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold on the North American tour goes to support the Trans Justice Funding Project and their work funding trans-led grassroots organizations in the US and US Territories who exist to serve and improve the lives of their local and national trans, gender non conforming and non-binary communities.
