Monolithe Noir Announce New Album, Share Haunting Video for ‘La foi gelée’

Belgian experimental shapeshifter Monolithe Noir has returned with ‘La foi gelée,’ the first single and title track from the project’s upcoming fourth album, due February 27, 2026 via Humpty Dumpty Records.

The track arrives with an icy, slow-burning video by filmmaker Nico Peltier, now streaming on YouTube. Across the last decade, Monolithe Noir has carved out a rare space in the avant-garde. One where modular synths, tactile percussion, and ghostly vocals feel like interconnected organisms. The new album looks to push that fusion even further. Billed as the project’s most vocal-forward work yet, it circles themes of grief and fading belief, but with a surprising glow cutting through the darkness.

‘La foi gelée’ distills that tension beautifully: a murmured melody suspended in frost, synths breathing like distant machinery, and a sense of emotional thaw just beneath the surface. Peltier’s video builds on that atmosphere, navigating between abstraction and something quietly intimate.
