37 Houses Unleashes ‘Jealous Love (Full Band Edition)’
Some bands form in garages; others, in college dorms. 37 Houses was forged in the intimate, pressurized crucible of a newlywed couple’s quarantine.
Singer Erin Sydney and guitarist Jeremy Rosenblum, a newlywed couple, found their way through a tumultuous lockdown together. Based in San Francisco, they’ve been transmuting the messy, beautiful reality of new love and a shut-down world into music you can feel. Jeremy’s songwriting unfolds like a series of poetic Polaroids, while Erin’s vocals tear through them with emotion. Think the emotional honesty of Sharon Van Etten, but with the hummable hooks of Pulp. It’s a vulnerable, beautiful mess and we’re all invited in.
Formed in San Francisco in 2024, 37 Houses draws inspiration from artists like Pavement, Smashing Pumpkins, and Built to Spill.
‘Jealous Love’ was the first single from the band’s 2024 debut album, and this version is a new recording featuring what is now the full live band. The band recorded 3 older songs to showcase their new live sound, along with 3 new singles for a series of releases in 2025. Today, they’re offering a Full Band Edition of their release ‘Jealous Love.’
