Clearaudio Concept MC Cartridge
One of the leading names in high-end turntable design is Clearaudio from Germany. We are currently using their Concept MC cartridge, a finely engineered moving-coil cartridge designed to deliver a highly detailed and refined performance from vinyl records.
Here we are in the process of setting up and fine-tuning our Clearaudio turntable, which originally came fitted with one of the company’s moving-magnet cartridges. Moving to the Concept MC has given us an opportunity to explore the differences between the two cartridge designs and to hear just how much influence a cartridge can have on the final sound.
