No One Else Says Returns to Brooklyn for Third Edition
Brooklyn’s No One Else Says festival returns on November 7, taking over 100 Sutton in Greenpoint for a day of live music, films, art and independent makers.
Now in its third edition, the festival focuses on Asian artists working across New York’s independent music and arts scenes, with guests coming from further afield too.
This year’s lineup includes Sab Star, Layton Wu, Push Ups, Whisper Doll, Sunshy, Kierst, Reonda and Toomi, alongside Sen Morimoto and Sub*T. There will also be a virtual artist talk with Yojiro Suda of Japanese band Mitsume.
The organisers have come up with a rather unusual setting for the live performances, with a stage inspired by a fish tank. Elsewhere, a separate screening room will show short films, animation and music videos, while around fifteen independent artists and makers will be selling their work.
No One Else Says is independently organised, and this time the idea is to keep everything in one place. Visitors can spend the afternoon watching bands, catch a film or talk, and look through the stalls without having to travel between venues.
The festival runs from 2 PM to 11 PM on Saturday, November 7, at 100 Sutton Street, second floor, Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
