German psych outfit Vibravoid return with ‘Power of Dreams,’ from their upcoming album ‘Remove the Ties,’ out September 26, 2025, on Tonzonen Records.
The latest single, ‘Power of Dreams’ is a real trip. It feels like they’ve unearthed a long-lost gem from some forgotten studio session in ’67, polished it up, and delivered it to us now. Their music is rooted in the primal spirit of psychedelia, not as an era but as a place. It scrapes past the wah-wah and strobes, the kind that transcends flashy effects and instead lives, breathes, and radiates that rare, ineffable vibe. They’re not chasing some heavy, riff-driven sound and calling it “psych”; they’re in a whole different headspace.
With ‘Power of Dreams,’ they’ve tuned into the cosmic radio…station frequency somewhere between the laughter of the moon and the hum of the earth’s spine. Melodies rise like soap bubbles, shimmering, turning colors, and popping into whispers only you can hear. The melodies call up echoes of pop’s golden hour, but here they’re refracted through strange light, like photographs bleached and re-colored until the faces look both familiar and unknown.
‘Remove the Ties’ is filled with pop hooks that are still there, sharp enough to cut you, but they’ve been soaked in some sonic acid bath where they come out wobbling and iridescent. Step through and you’re weightless, spinning on the great wheel with all the other dreamers who never stopped listening.
