‘Witch Mountain’ by Kings of the F**king Sea
Exclusive video premier of ‘Witch Mountain’ by Kings of the Fucking Sea from their upcoming album ‘In Concert’.
‘In Concert’ is the debut record from Kings of the Fucking Sea courtesy of the always excellent Agitated Records. ‘Witch Mountain,’ a song about deceiving Evel Knievel and the resulting battle between the Death Dealer and poet John Keats, is the first single from the record.
KOTFS hails from Nashville, Tennessee, and the rock trio’s members might already be familiar to some listeners: Sara Nelson (b), Poni silver (d), and Chet Weise (g, v) have toured and released records with bands such as The Little Killers, The Ettes, and Immortal Lee Country Killers. About KOTFS’ sound, Walter Scott Award winning author of The Gallows Pole and The Offing, Benjamin Myers says, “Kings of the Fucking Sea make me want to mask-up, topple statues, carve Iggy’s face in Mount Rushmore, storm the White House and paint it black. The ‘Witch Mountain’ video by Tristan McNatt features footage from the two night stand February 7-8, 2020, at the t-shirt print shop and art space Soft Junk. Both nights were recorded live on a Tascam reel-to reel. At the time, no one knew tornadoes would barrel through Nashville only weeks later with the pandemic close on their heels.
