Betrayers – Let the Good Times Die (2014) review

Betrayers – Let the Good Times Die (Perfect Master Records, 2014)

Slipping under most radars Edmonton psych tinged garage
rockers Betrayers might have released one of the best records this year that
you never had the opportunity to listen to. Organ tinged jams sound like they
might be channeling Question Mark & the Mysterians through the vibes of
neo-psych bands such as the Brian Jonestown Massacre. Sometimes they embrace
their garage rock roots and can sound like a offshoot of bands you might expect
from Burger Records. This album is highly recommended! Like a fine wine this
will get better with every listen!
